KAUST has received additional Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines which will be made available for community members. Please read below for details on how to get vaccinated at KAUST Health.

Pfizer vaccines for those aged 12 and over

Appointments for the vaccine at KAUST Health are available from February 2 to February 8 and bookings can be made here.  Availability is limited, so these will be on a first-booked, first-served basis. It is therefore very important that if you book a vaccine slot, you attend it and at the appropriate date and time.

Note that it is a Kingdom requirement for:

  • Any individual aged 12 and over to be fully vaccinated
  • Any individual aged 18 and over to have received a booster dose by eight months after the second dose (first for Johnson & Johnson vaccine) although eligibility starts at three months after the second dose.

Failure to meet these requirements will result in a loss of the ‘immune’ status on Tawakkalna. You will also be denied access to work, class, other buildings and transport.

Pfizer vaccines for those aged 5 to 11 years

KAUST has also received COVID-19 vaccines for the 5 – 11 age group. Appointment availability is being confirmed and the vaccines will be administered in KAUST Health within the next week. Further information with booking procedures will be communicated later in the week.

Options outside of KAUST

Vaccine appointments for everyone age five and up remain available through Sehhaty and Tawakkalna for locations in Jeddah and the region.

Thank you for doing your part to Keep KAUST Safe.
