Do you have what it takes to defy gravity? Register now for the KAUST Arab Youth Climbing Competition and get ready to showcase your climbing skills.

Organized in collaboration with the Saudi Climbing and Hiking Federation, the competition will take place on Friday, May 10 at the Island Recreation Club Climbing Wall. Children aged 10 to 13 will compete in the Auto-Belay category, while children aged 14-15 will compete in the Lead Climbing categories.

Registration

  • Register here. First come, first served.
  • To register, you need to create a membership account here. Within seven business days, you will receive an email to inform you if your request is approved or rejected.
  • Registration for the competition closes on May 6. If you are not a member of the SCHF, please apply for a membership by April 29.
  • Once approved, please follow the steps in the email to finalize your registration.

Climbing wall closure

Please note that the Climbing Wall will be partially closed on May 7, 8, and 9 to set up for the competition.

Starting May 12, the Climbing Wall opening hours will return to their regular schedule.

Spectators

Not a climber? You can still join us to cheer on your favorite climbers to the top.

KAUST Partnership with the Saudi Climbing and Hiking Federation
