Are you a twitcher? Are you interested in learning more about our local birds? The Red Sea Research Center, Community Life, and HSE are delighted to be hosting David Darrell-Lambert at KAUST on Wednesday, October 6 and you are invited to join him for a guided walk or lecture.

David, the owner of Bird Brain UK, is an ornithologist, photographer and author with 30 years of field experience.  Since 1988 he has undertaken many bird surveys – from gardens to large-scale developments, such as the London Olympics and the HS2 train network in the UK. His surveys are used to inform planning applications and provide population assessments for conservation.

David has been Chair of the Ornithological Section of the London Natural History Society and a trustee for the charity for more than 20 years. He was also Director of Greenspace Information for Greater London, providing ornithological knowledge. He is an accomplished photographer and his photographs feature in many specialist journals. In 2018, his book “Birdwatching London” was published. He is often seen in the media, providing expert opinion and advice and assisting with research for wildlife programs.
