The Art Club is offering a new six-week mosaic workshop – for adults starting in May.
Location
Art Studio in the Island Recreation Club (IRC).
Schedule
When: On Saturdays: May 1, 8, 22, 29 and June 5, 12.
(There is no class on May 25 because of the Eid holiday).
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Cost
The total cost for all six classes will be 500 SAR, to be paid in cash on the first class, and includes the cost of materials. You need to commit in attending all six classes.
For Who?
Adults only (senior secondary school children can attend, but only by special arrangement by email).
Participants are required to follow the Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines.
Clothes
You should wear clothes which are suitable for getting dirty – or bring your own apron.
Teacher
Nesegul Demir (Nessie) is a Turkish national living in KAUST and is a qualified art teacher of elementary to high school children. She has done many workshops in KAUST for the Art Club, including, oil and acrylic painting and mosaic picture making. She loves teaching drawing and painting and one of her specialities is decorating the outside of her house for special celebrations. Included here are some of her paintings, on paper as well as rocks!
