KAUST Smart town hall

Dear KAUST community,`

You are cordially invited to the KAUST Smart town hall on Wednesday, September 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Auditorium Building 20. This town hall is open to all personnel and community members

KAUST Smart is an enabler of immersive, user-centric experiences and a launchpad to test and try new technologies and new ideas leveraging KAUST as a true living lab.

The aim of the town hall is to help familiarize you with KAUST Smart, highlight recent initiatives and discuss upcoming plans. In this interactive town hall, you will be invited to share your inputs and engage further with KAUST Smart initiatives.

The town hall will feature a panel discussion that highlights different touchpoints and collaborative efforts between KAUST Smart and the University sectors.

The panel consists of a distinguished group of collaborators and stakeholders from across the University including  

  • Ana Margarida L. Costa, Head of Sustainability, Office of the Chief of Staff (moderator) 
  • Yehia M. Massoud, Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering 
  • Atif Shamim, Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering 
  • Aiman H. Bakr, Manager, Operations and Building Management, Facilities Management   
  • Emad A. Abdulghani, Manager, Community Services, Community Life   
  • Mohammed A. Al-Suhaym, Lead, System Automation and Technology, Government Affairs  
  • Hattan H. Ahmed, Entrepreneurship Director, Entrepreneurship Center, Innovation Department 

Note: Light refreshments and lunch will be served.
