Dear colleagues,

In continuation of the University’s efforts to support our people with their development journeys, we are pleased to announce that LinkedIn Learning will be available for all KAUST employees and students as well as our contractor workforce.

Formerly the popular online learning provider Lynda.Com, LinkedIn Learning will provide KAUST access to their entire learning catalog of 16,000 courses and video tutorials across a range of business related topics. These topics include Business Analysis, Finance, Leadership and accredited Project Management training. Through LinkedIn Learning, it is also possible to add course completions and any awarded certificates to your LinkedIn profile in order to develop your professional presence.

We will be shortly sending out the invitation to access LinkedIn Learning so you can begin using the site. For convenience there will also be a button link to access LinkedIn Learning from the Learning site on the KAUST Portal.

Following closely on the launch of the Coursera learning platform, LinkedIn Learning will form part of the Digital Learning provision that KAUST is making available to our people. These digital learning platforms form an important part of our ongoing learning and development strategy for KAUST. We want to offer top learning resources from around the world, in addition to instructor-led programs, and thereby create a wide arena of opportunities to support our people’s development.

We encourage you to take full advantage of these offerings as we continue to grow the skillsets and intellectual capacity of our unique global community.
