WEP 2021 Connectivity: a global virtual experience

So long 2020! On January 10, the Winter Enrichment Program (WEP) will kick-off 2021 with ‘Connectivity,’ a carefully crafted virtual program to make you disconnect, expand your horizons, and reflect on different topics with over 70 speakers.

Registration opens on January 5

Check out the agenda now and prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience. Take good note of the events you wish to attend on your journey in ‘Connectivity.’ The registration for the KAUST community will open on January 5. Starting this date, all our events will be open for registration except for the workshops and courses designed specifically for the students attending WEP for credits.

Opening event on January 10 at 11:00 a.m.

Join us live for the opening event of WEP 2021, as H.E. Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha—Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Communications & Information Technology—will address the opening keynote of WEP 2021.

The opening keynote will be followed by lectures about the recent telecommunications research at KAUST. Watch “6G: Towards a More Connected and Sustainable World” by Distinguished Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini and Professor Boon S. Ooi’s “Underwater Wireless Optical Communication.” More details can be found here
