Call for Internship Proposals – Deadline extended until December 20, 2018
From creating science communications and story maps in the Red Sea Research Center to providing technical support to end users in the IT Department, WISE interns gain an incredible experience each summer through working within our world class teams.
WISE is a four-week community-based internship program for children of KAUST residents, with applications open to TKS students who will be in grade 11 or 12 during the 2019-2020 academic year, and student dependents who are enrolling, studying or completing their studies at university/college (age 25 and under). Last year, 73 students successfully completed internships comprising of on the job training, mentorship and a learning program geared to helping them identify and apply their strengths and talents.
Departments are invited to submit their proposals to provide internship positions for the WISE Program that will run this coming summer from July 14 to August 8, 2019. The deadline for proposals has been extended to December 20, 2018.
Read more about WISE here (FAQs and key dates) and hear from some of the 2018 WISE interns here through a video they produced during last year’s program. Please send an email to WISE@KAUST.edu.sa with your queries.
