We are excited to invite you to our upcoming webinar as part of the Fall 2023 Sustainability Seminar Series given by Ms. Yara Faisal Sindi, General Manager of Monitoring and Reporting for Sustainable Development, Ministry of Economy and Planning in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Abstract

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has taken an integrated approach to achieve both the Saudi Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), recognizing their interrelated and complementary nature in promoting sustainable development. Through a comprehensive and participatory process involving diverse stakeholders from the public and private sectors, civil society organizations, and academic institutions, Saudi Arabia has prepared a Voluntary National Review (VNR) to assess its progress towards the SDGs. This seminar will focus on Saudi Arabia’s integrated approach to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 and the SDGs. The speaker, Ms. Yara Faisal Sindi from the Ministry of Economy and Planning, will discuss the collaborative efforts and insights gathered during the VNR preparation, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to Sustainable Development and active involvement in achieving the SDGs.
