KAUST Facilities Management team named finalist for 2023 IWFM Impact Awards

The Water Desalination and Distribution Systems team under the Facilities Management Department of KAUST has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious 2023 IWFM Impact Awards. The announcement was made on Wednesday, July 26, across the IWFM’s Twitter (Now “X”) feed.

The Water Desalination and Distribution team has been recognized for the team’s outstanding contributions to the industry, and has been nominated under the category “Team of the Year: Private Sector.”

Winning an IWFM Impact Award is the workplace and facilities management industry’s most sought-after honor. It celebrates and showcases exceptional best practices and ingenuity from a profession that influences many aspects of life, including addressing significant global challenges.

With a focus on areas such as sustainability, social value, well-being, and productivity, the Awards underline the critical role of workplace and facilities management in business, the economy, and society at large. The Awards recognize individuals, teams, projects, collaborations, and organizations across various sizes, types, and sectors worldwide.

With their track record of success and innovation, having previously been awarded the IWFM Impact Award for “Product or Service Development of the Year” in 2022, the Facilities Management Department is optimistic about the upcoming Awards.

The winners of the 2023 IWFM Impact Awards will be announced at a gala event to be held in London on October 16, 2023.
