Dear KAUST Community,
We are pleased to announce that KAUST will once again serve as the summer home for the Saudi Research Science Institute (SRSI) program from July 7 to August 17. This comprehensive six-week program will bring together 45 academically-focused high school students from across the Kingdom.
SRSI, launched in 2011, is dedicated to nurturing the future scientists and researchers of Saudi Arabia. The program offers rigorous research assignments, one-on-one mentoring, personalized tutoring, and comprehensive college application preparation. It also provides a range of extracurricular activities to foster teamwork, leadership, creativity, and interpersonal skills.
SRSI alumni have achieved remarkable success, receiving prestigious scholarships, such as the distinguished KAUST Gifted Student Program, and earning numerous awards from reputable platforms, including ISEF, Ibdaa, ISWEEP and ITEX. Most of our alumni have attended top-tier universities globally and within the Kingdom, with many proudly obtaining their advanced degrees from KAUST. They have excelled in their professional journeys, securing positions with esteemed employers such as Google, Neom, Adobe, Proctor and Gamble, Oliver Wyman, and the Saudi Ministry of Energy.
