Week 1: Stay sharp – Spot & report the phish!

We’re kicking off Cybersecurity Awareness Month with one of the most common threats in the digital world: phishing and email security. Phishing emails are designed to trick you into clicking malicious links, sharing personal information, or downloading harmful files. They often look convincing, but with the right awareness, you can spot the red flags and stay protected.

This week, you’ll learn how to recognize suspicious messages, avoid falling for scams, and report anything unusual to the KAUST Information Security team. Through online games and activities and infographics, we’ll equip you with the skills to protect yourself, and KAUST, from cybercriminals. Remember: it only takes one click to put data at risk, and it takes awareness and continuous vigilance to stop it and stay safe.

Login to the KAUST Security Education Platform and participate in this week’s learning challenge: Check, Please!

The fastest and highest-scoring participants will WIN PRIZES at the end of the month!
