The Office of the Arts invites the KAUST community to join our next Ensembles Concert, showcasing all three of our music groups: the Orchestra, the Angklung Ensemble and, for the first time since the pandemic hiatus, the return of the Chorus.
The program includes four orchestral pieces by composers such as Igor Stravinsky and Franz Peter Schubert, as well as a selection of music from the Warner Bros film series Harry Potter, which should delight our young (and young at-heart) audience.
The Angklung Ensemble will perform traditional Indonesian music and some well-known pop songs by the like of Coldplay or Muse.
The Chorus will present a variety of music styles, taking the audience on a journey from Southern Africa to Latin America with a nostalgic stop in Broadway.
