The KAUST Bioscience Core Lab (BCL) and King Abdulaziz University (KAU) are pleased to invite you to the Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) seminar that will take place in KAU on April 3 and in KAUST on April 4.

Attendees will learn about the latest developments in the NGS field that have revolutionized the genome sequencing market, contributing to the implementation of new diagnostics approaches and allowing the sequencing of thousands of species and individuals. New methods are being developed and their applications have made NGS sequencers core equipment in genomics and clinical laboratories.

Speakers from the University of California San Francisco; National Guard Health Affairs; KAU; and KAUST will present their clinical and research studies. Experts from Illumina will discuss their current NGS applications. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in short sessions with the KAUST BCL scientists on next-generation sequencing and its quality metrics.

All interested KAUST researchers, students and staff are encouraged to participate in this special event.

Due to limited seating, please register here before Sunday, March 31.

The agenda for the event can be found here.

For further information, please contact ngsillumina@kaust.edu.sa.

Lunch and light refreshment will be provided.

This opportunity is brought to you by the KAUST Core Labs.
