The KAUST Ensembles Concert, a bi-annual Office of the Arts signature event, takes place during this season’s Enrichment in the Fall Program.
Over 90 musicians who call KAUST their home will offer their talents for a special night of music on Monday, October 22 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Auditorium (bldg. 20).
Join your friends and colleagues to enjoy a concert featuring the KAUST Orchestra, Chorus, and Angklung Ensemble. The Orchestra will present a KAUST-themed concert-cast of the first movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 complete with announcers, a referee and a penalty box! The Chorus is preparing a beautiful South African Folk Song with percussion soloists, and the song, Remember Me, from the recent Disney Pixar movie, COCO. The Angklung Ensemble will perform an Indonesian Folk Song and the well-known Pachelbel Canon scored for our angklung robot, Klungbot.

Children are encouraged to attend this concert with their parents. Children younger than six years may sit with their parents in the special Family Seating section in the lobby to view a live streaming of the concert on the lobby monitors.
