Free skin-cancer screening clinic

KAUST is sunny nearly 365 days per year, which is a great benefit for many aspects of overall health and wellness in our community. However, spending too much time in the sun can increase your risk of ultraviolet damage to your skin.

Skin cancer can be prevented by staying in the shade, wearing clothing that covers your skin, and protecting exposed skin with sunscreen. Even with preventative measures though, early detection and treatment of skin cancer can be the key to a swift recovery.

To promote early detection of skin cancer, KAUST Health is hosting a screening clinic this December.
