The current weather forecast indicates heavy rainfall in the local area between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. You are asked to please limit unnecessary travel on campus with the understanding that normal travel may be necessary to pick up children, attend medical appointments, etc.
For your safety and the safety of others, please avoid entering any areas of standing water, as flooding can create hidden dangers not apparent to the eye.
Schools and buses
All transportation within KAUST continues to run with some delays due to flooding. The shopping buses going to Jeddah have been cancelled until further notice. Jeddah is currently experiencing inclement weather and we will provide updates about the Jeddah return bus schedule in the coming hours.
