SRSI 2017: 7th Annual Poster Symposium

The Saudi Research Science Institute (SRSI) 2017 invites the KAUST community to the Poster Symposium to be held at the University Library, Tuesday, Aug 1, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Not only is this a wonderful opportunity to meet the SRSI young scholars and learn about the important research they doing under the guidance of KAUST faculty and their research teams, but it is also an opportunity to introduce young people to the exciting world of research. Please bring your junior and senior high school students to expose them to the many different fields within science and technology while interacting with people close to their age.

Saudi Initiatives’ SRSI program is a mentorship program for academically gifted Saudi High School Students, who spend six weeks of their summer break, living and participating in research at KAUST. In addition to our 37 Saudi students, six TKS students are participants. The poster symposium is an exhibition of the projects the students are pursuing under the supervision of their KAUST faculty mentors. The SRSI students are truly an inspirational group of young scholars and this is a great opportunity to meet them and see their enthusiasm for research, learning and change.
