Those of you that have visited the Town Center area recently will have noticed the efforts that have been made to make this an enjoyable area to sit, eat and relax, especially during Ramadan when extra services have been provided for community members to enjoy.
As a result, the number of pedestrians in this area and especially young children has greatly increased,and we must ensure we keep them safe.
For that reason, all community members and contractors are reminded that the use of motor vehicles in the Town Center is restricted to the delivery and collection of goods and materials only.
No motor vehicles (including motorbikes) are to be permanently parked in this area. They should be removed to a designated car park as soon as unloading or loading is complete. When driving in this area, vehicle speed must be no more than walking pace (5 kph).
Please help ensure we keep this area of KAUST safe for everyone to enjoy.
