We wrap up our Enrichment in the Spring program this weekend with the first-ever STEAM ideation challenge, in which groups of KAUST and other Saudi university students collaborate to find solutions to global problems in just 48 hours.

125 students are participating in STEAM from five institutions. Students taking part in this challenge will have a background or expertise in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. The teams will work on water, food and urban development challenges.

On Saturday, April 30 the community can watch the final team presentations and award ceremony from 4:30 to 6:20 p.m.

STEAM is brought to you in collaboration with the Office of Enrichment Programs, the Entrepreneurship Center and e-BIG, and is sponsored by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).

Finally, we’d like to thank everyone who has participated in the Enrichment in the Spring program and for helping to make it a huge success. We’ll be back with a new program in October.
