Dear colleagues,

As part of finalizing the Annual Travel Allowance for the calendar year 2016, all primary personnel with dependents are required to confirm the residency status of their dependents at KAUST. You can verify and confirm the residency status of dependents by logging onto the portal and completing a brief survey.

Instructions on how to complete the survey can be found here.

The survey will be open through December 10, 2015.

The annual travel allowance for 2016 will be paid in December 2015 due to information technology transitions occurring in January 2016.

The table below explains the criteria to be eligible for Annual Travel Allowance for dependents. Dependents of expatriates must be under the sponsorship of KAUST personnel to be eligible for Annual Travel Allowance.

Dependent Residency Requirement Age Limit Marital Status
Spouse Residing in-Kingdom with you for 180 calendar days or more per calendar year. NA Married
Children up to and including 19 years old Residing in-Kingdom with you for 180 calendar days or more per calendar year. Less than or equal to 19 years old Unmarried
Children up to and including the age of

If you are unable to complete the survey by the specified date, we will not be able to process your annual travel allowance for 2016 this month. Your cooperation in confirming dependent details is greatly appreciated.

  1. Hi,

I am a student and upon logging to the portal and clicking ‘Student Self-service’ tab, I am not seeing anything like ‘Dependent Survey’ tab! Please check if the system is working properly and this tab is available to all already or not!
