The Technology Application and Advancement Group (TAAG) and KAUST Industry Collaboration Program (KICP) invite you to attend a scientific workshop on:

Performance Measurement and Prediction of Solar Energy in Hot Desert Climates
Wednesday, June 5, 2013
9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Conference Center (building 19), level 3, halls 2 and 3

This event is being organized in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) and PASAN Measurement Systems. A group of internationally recognized experts from academia and technology providers will present the latest in the areas of reliability, testing, and measurement of solar energy performance under hot desert conditions, including modeling of dust influence on Solar PV technologies and modeling of dust transport mechanisms in the region. A panel discussion will also be included on the topic of how the Saudi Arabia climatic requirements should be addressed in the future development of international photovoltaic standards for indoor and outdoor testing.
