Spoken English classes for spouses

Human Resources is pleased to announce the start of Winter Communication Skills courses for spouses. All spouses residing within the KAUST community are welcome to join the English classes which will run from November 13 – December 15. Courses meet twice a week for 1 ½ hours per class and will focus on spoken English.

This is a great opportunity to improve your English, as well as interact with other community members with a desire to learn English! Conversation courses cost 500 SAR and range from beginner to upper intermediate levels.

To register for the course, please click here.

Registration will be closed at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday October 20, so don’t delay!

Are we supposed to get a confirmation email about the registration and the time place of the course?

Thanks.

Matthew October 26, 2016 - 10:56 am

We’ve extended the deadline until the end of the day tomorrow. We’ll send confirmation of registration at that time, including the details of the placement test for new participants.

All the courses begin the week of November 13th.

Dear Matthew,
I’m supposed to take the placement test soon and I haven’t received any confirmation email. I was wondering if there may be some kind of error because I did register through the link provided here.

Thanks.

Hello Chak,

You’ll receive a confirmation email with a reminder of the location on the day before your placement test. The placement tests will take place this week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hello Matthew,

I registered for the course and I’m supposed to have the placement test tomorrow, however I haven’t received any confirmation email?

Matthew November 1, 2016 - 5:14 pm

Hello Nadia,

The email went out this afternoon, but I think after your post. In case you haven’t received the confirmation, the test is in building 9, room #2221 at 9:00am
