Mosquito and fly treatment

As the weather cools, so the number of mosquitoes and flies increases. In order to control the number of insects throughout the KAUST community, the Pest Control Department is hard at work finding and treating breeding sites, increasing the amount of ultra-low volume spraying and installing additional fly and mosquito traps.

The ultra-low volume chemicals used here at KAUST are all approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as being suitable for use in residential areas. All ultra-low volume spraying will take place during early morning hours so as not to disturb the community.
