KAUST Observes Earth Hour Tonight

Tonight at 8:30PM,  KAUST will observe, along with over 5,200 cities and towns in over 135 countries, the 5th Annual Earth Hour. Earth Hour is designed to raise global awareness about sustainability and climate change by shutting off lights for an hour tonight from 8:30PM – 9:30PM. Last year, in the Kingdom, our 2 largest skyscrapers, the Al-Faisalyah & the Kingdom Towers, went dark for an hour. Click here for an Arabic link. KAUST’s website will dim for the hour with a link to the Earth Hour site. Join the Harbor Library and others by dimming or turning your lights off.
