Characterization of Catalysts by Chemisorption Techniques Training Course

The Analytical Core Lab is offering a basic training course on the characterization of catalysts by Chemisorption Techniques. Catalysts have a variety of applications ranging from the production of consumer goods to the protection of the environment. Optimum design and efficient use of catalysts requires a thorough understanding of the surface structure and surface chemistry of the active material. Chemisorption techniques provide a lot of information necessary to evaluate catalysts in the design and production phases, as well as after a period of use. This training course will cover a number of basic aspects of these techniques.

Tuesday, April 3
Ibn Sina Building (building 3), level 3, room 3320

Course Outline:

  • Overview Of Chemisorption Theory
  • Static and Dynamic Analysis
  • Use Of Autochem 2950HP Software Features
  • Hands-On Training
  • Data Processing and Interpretation
