Join us for a parent information session on May 7
At TKS, we are on a mission to empower learners to thrive and contribute in a complex world.
As we continue to advance our strategy for personalized learning, we recognize that every student’s journey to success looks different. For some students, their path to success requires a more specialized, high-support setting. To create further opportunities for learners to thrive, we are pleased to introduce the Early Intervention (PK-G2) and BRIDGE (G3-12) Programs.
What is the Early Intervention Program?
This program is currently referred to as Personalized Pathways in the Early Years. The program will expand the current services to support students with more complex learning profiles.
What is the BRIDGE Program?
The BRIDGE Program (Building Resilience, Independence, Development, Growth, & Engagement) provides life-centered education through highly individualized learning plans. It is designed for students in Grades 3–12 with complex learning profiles which may include developmental delays, cognitive differences, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or physical needs requiring individualized, intensive, and structured instruction.
While the program will be housed in the FCSC building, students will be enrolled as TKS students, with intentional opportunities to integrate into the broader school community for shared learning and social connection.
Community Partnership
The BRIDGE Program is a unique collaboration between TKS, KAUST Health (KH), and C&C to serve the KAUST community holistically.
- Management: TKS will oversee all admissions, instruction, scheduling, growth plans, and case management.
- Specialized Care: KH will manage distinct therapy sessions (Speech-Language, Occupational, and Behavior specialists) and associated case management.
- Teacher Involvement: A collaborative team of educators and integrated service professionals will work together.
- Phased Rollout: We are starting with a thoughtful, phased approach to ensure our systems and staffing are fully aligned to provide a high standard of care.
