Good Morning – can we please verify the retail schedule with the local businesses before posting, because I have been trying for last 40 mins to order food from Burger King for delivery under their advertised operating hours (11:00am)and there is no answer (5 plus phone calls).

This is particularly frustrating when options are already extremely limited and these hours were approved to be published by KAUST communications in coordination with Facilities. The vendor needs to be held accountable.

Dear Alex S

Thank you for your comments; we take all feedback very seriously and appreciate you taking the time to post. All timings were received from the retailers and so we are investigating what happened re: Burger King.

Once again, thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

The schedule online is definitely incorrect. Most shops in discovery square were closed yesterday when we went there around 1 am. We were disappointed.

I have a question for the ransport team:
The bus schedule for Madinah during Ramadhan – does it take into account the iftar time and taraweh prayer?

Dear Ihab,

Thank you for your comment and we were sorry to read of your disappointment. Since bringing this to our attention checks have been conducted on the retail outlets and since your comment we have noted that in general they are following there advertised opening timings but do start to clear away slightly earlier (around 15 mins) when there are no customers.

The information originally supplied by the retailers led to some initial confusion especially on home deliveries but this has now been rectified.

Once again we were sorry to hear of your previous disappointment and hope that your requirements are now being met.
