KAUST Academy opens registration for KEY Academic Circles and tutoring
KAUST Academy has opened registration for Academic Circles, a service under the KAUST Enrichment for Youth (KEY) initiative offering weekly group tutoring sessions for TKS students and children in the KAUST community. Sessions are led by KAUST graduate students. Alongside Academic Circles, KEY also connects students with private tutors from the KAUST community.
Academic Circles runs in Building 9 through December and offers two tracks. The first supports the school curriculum in science and math for students in Grades 6 to 10. The second is advanced math training for students interested in competing in the KAUST Math Competition or other international competitions, split into a junior group (Grades 7 to 8) and a senior group (Grades 9 to 11). The session schedule is available on the Academic Circles registration form.
Private tutoring continues alongside Academic Circles and is open to all grades and all subjects, including Math, Advanced Math, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and preparation for the SAT and Qudurat exams. In 2025, a total of 257 students received tutoring through KEY across the fall and spring semesters. Private tutoring runs continuously throughout the academic year.
There is no registration deadline for either program, so families can request support at the point they need it rather than committing at the start of a semester. Sessions are delivered by current KAUST students and employees.
Registration is now open for both programs.
