The WISER In-Year Program is now recruiting mentors for the Spring 2027 Semester.
WISER connects The KAUST School students (Grade 10 and above) with KAUST professionals and researchers for a semester-long internship — giving students real-world experience that directly shapes their academic and career journey.
This year, 110 students have applied — our largest cohort yet, reflecting the growing demand for mentorship across KAUST.
Thank you to our Fall 2026 mentors, who are currently supervising 60 interns! Now 50 more interns are looking for internship opportunities starting in January. There will be interested interns in nearly every area of the KAUST Community!
What does it take?
Just 5-7 hours per week over 15 weeks, no mandatory events, no complex processes. TKS
handles all placement, paperwork, and evaluation. All you need to do is show up for
your student.
