Free bus to King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC)
ARTmosphere, in collaboration with Government Affairs, invites you to an exclusive artist/curator led-tour of the solo exhibition by internationally acclaimed Saudi artist, Ahmed Mater.
One of the most significant cultural voices in the Kingdom and a physician turned artist, Ahmed Mater is also the director of The Misk Art Institute, founded by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. His artworks are in the collections of the most prestigious institutions worldwide, such as The British Museum; Victoria & Albert Museum, London; LACMA, California; and Centre Pompidou, Paris.
Including film, photography, sculpture and installation produced over the last ten years, Ahmed first solo show at KAEC is truly a groundbreaking endeavor and a must-see. The last day to see this exhibition is February 24, and it will close afterwards. The curator Jumana Ghouth, has agreed to give us a private tour and will be available for questions.
The bus will leave Kaust at 11:00 a.m. and will return to Kaust at 2:00 p.m.
Do not forget to bring your KAUST ID. Women visitors are invited to wear an abaya for the visit.
Spaces are limited and provided on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline for registration is this Thursday, February 22 at 4:00 p.m.
