U.S. Travel Advisory Reminder

Enhanced Traveler Security Measures

On Sunday, July 6, the United States Transportation Security Administration announced increased security measures required for all flights whose final destination is the United States of America. The majority of overseas airports will be asking passengers who are taking flights to the U.S., whether direct or connecting, to turn on all electronic devices. If not charged or turning on, devices may be confiscated and the traveler may be forced through an additional level of screening. Travelers may also see an increase in the inspection of shoes and hand luggage, as well as additional screening points in some airports’ boarding gates.

Please be prepared for any and all additional security measures and delays and also ensure that your electrical devices (phone, laptop, tablet, etc.) can power-up on demand at any point during your journey.
