IMAT Outstanding Paper award

Dr. Muhammad Wakil Shahzad, a post-doc fellow, from the Water Desalination and Reuse Center (WDRC), recently won the Outstanding Paper award at the 7th International Meeting on Advances in Thermofluids (IMAT 2014) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Candidates were judged on both the quality of their paper and the style of their presentation. Dr. Shahzad’s winning paper was based around a new cost apportionment proposal method for combine power and desalination plants along with fuel cost distribution. This was a collaborative research between KAUST and National University of Singapore.
