Two-Day Software Training for AVIZO FIRE, by VSG

This course consists of a lecture plus hands-on exercises intended for new or existing users of AVIZO FIRE from VSG. This particular module of AVIZO is targeted to the full workflow of Material Sciences including image acquisition and post-processing, segmentation, feature detection, 3D reconstruction, analytical computation, and presentation. The training will highlight the important features and unique functionality of this module of AVIZO and its powerful extensions. A detailed program can be found here.

There will be a limited number PCs available for this hands-on training course. You can also bring your own laptop (Windows required). Software and temporary licenses will be provided, although AVIZO can be obtained from the KAUST IT website with a campus license.
