There's still time to apply for Falling Walls 2015

If you are a student, postdoc, professional, scientist, entrepreneur, or otherwise and have a vision to change the world, this is your chance!

KAUST is honored to be selected again as one of the world’s elite 100 universities to participate in the 2015 Falling Walls Lab competition.

 

Falling Walls is looking for young innovators to present their research projects, business plans, entrepreneurial or social initiatives. Presentations will be made before a panel of judges, and must be completed in three minutes or less. All KAUST community members whose latest university degree dates back no more than 5 years is eligible to apply.

The application deadline is Thursday, August 13. Applications are being accepted now.

The awards are:
  • The 1st place winner will also win a 13″ Macbook Air
  • The 2nd place winner will win an 11″ Macbook Air
  • Three additional winners will take home an iPad Air

Graduate Affairs will host the on-campus competition Tuesday, September 15. Five finalists will win awards, with an ultimate winner earning a trip to Berlin for the international competition on the weekend of November 8 and 9.

To apply, go to Falling-Walls.com/lab then click the photo box titled Applications Open Now. From that page, choose “KAUST” from the first drop down box and proceed to complete your application.
