KAUST Bioscience Core Lab (BCL), PacBio and Alliance Global (AGBL) would like to invite you to join them at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) on October 9th for the KAUST PacBio Day.  

Attendees will gain insights into groundbreaking tools and techniques through engaging presentations. Expert speakers from KAUST and PacBio will share their experience using PacBio’s innovative technology and its impact on research projects. With the latest Revio system and supported applications, highly accurate long-read sequencing (HiFi sequencing) is ready to scale to support large studies and develop new areas of research.

Highlights of the event include: 

  • In-person presentations from scientists using HiFi reads for whole genome, metagenomic, and single-cell sequencing in topics including plant science/agriculture, human genomics and rare diseases, brain development, and marine science.
  • Overview of the capabilities of the Revio system, PacBio applications and the facilities at the KAUST Bioscience Core Laboratory.    
  • Q&A and networking opportunities with speakers and sequencing experts
