We would like to thank everyone who helped make this year’s Annual E-Scooter and Bike Safety Event, held in collaboration with TKS and KAUST Security, a great success.
A special thank you to the dedicated organizers, TKS volunteers, and all the TKS students and community members who participated.
Through interactive activities, safety demonstrations, and community engagement, the event emphasized how we can play a part in Keeping KAUST Safe.
We ask all riders to practice the key messages shared during the event:
- Always wear a securely fastened helmet when riding.
- Be visible to other road users between sunrise and sunset.
- Obey the rules of the road.
- No riding on sidewalks, inside buildings, or in Discovery Square.
- Do not ride across pedestrian crossings. Dismount and walk across the same as a pedestrian.
- On the Academic Campus, only ride electric-powered micromobility on the pathway behind Buildings 2 to 5.
