Please note that the Island Recreation Club will host The KAUST School (TKS) swimming competition on January 17 and 24. As a result, the IRC swimming pools will be temporarily closed according to the following schedule:

| Sunday, January 12 | 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. | Partially closed – To install the platform and blocks, half of the IRC Family Pool (from the deep end to the middle) will be closed, while the other half will remain open. |
| Wednesday, January 15 | 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. | Fully closed – Access to both the Family Pool and the Kiddie Pool will be restricted for testing purposes. |
| Friday, January 17 and Friday, January 24 | 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Fully closed – Competition days: The pools will only be available for the swim meet. They will reopen to the community at 3:00 p.m. During this time, the Harbor Sports Club Pools will remain open for your convenience. |
| Sunday, January 26 | 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. | Partially closed – To remove the platform and blocks, half of the IRC Family Pool (from the deep end to the middle) will be closed, while the other half will remain open. |
