Community Life would like to wish you a wonderful Saudi Founding Day holiday!
You are warmly invited to celebrate the Saudi Founding Day with us at Discovery Square on Wednesday, February 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Join us for a variety of activities and entertainment for you and your family including:
- Saudi Coffee, dates and local delicacies
- Traditional shows
- Art and crafts for kids
- Face painting and henna stations
This year, explore all regions of Saudi Arabia and their culture at the Discovery Square. Enjoy traditional food, try on regional clothes and visit the photo booth at the:
- Najd corner
- Northern Corner
- Southern corner
- Hijaz corner
Event Transportation
Limited parking at the Discovery Square is available. Please consider biking or walking to the event especially with the nice weather these days.
Founding Day Celebrations at Workplace
On Sunday, February 26, we will continue the celebrations with coffee, dates and delicacies from KSA. These will be available in Building 16 and other locations around the campus from 8:00 a.m.
Community Life Operating Hours
Most Community Life services including restaurants and coffee shops will operate as per their normal working hours during Saudi Founding Day.
KAUST Health will be closed on Wednesday, February 22 for Saudi Founding Day. As always, 911 emergency response and the Emergency Department operate 24/7.
