Recently certain foreign bank card holders have been experiencing difficulty in accessing cash through SAMBA ATM’s. This problem has affected all SAMBA ATM’s nationwide and is not specific to KAUST.
SAMBA estimates that this problem may take until the end of August to be resolved. It is advised that foreign bank card holders obtain cash from other bank ATM’s in Thuwal, KAEC and/or Jeddah. Foreign bank cards can still be used for point-of-sale purchases.
The KAUST finance division will keep the community updated as more information becomes available.
