We are pleased to offer new sessions of the Community Arabic Program, which provides a variety of offerings to support Arabic language learning. Please see below the options for Kids and Adult Arabic Classes, and our Conversational Arabic Café, to find the right program for you.
Kids Arabic Classes
The Community Arabic Program for Kids is now open for registration. The program provides children with an enriching Arabic learning experience through creative learning methods and is tailored to provide young children with an enjoyable and informative learning experience.
This program is aimed at children from Grade 1 to Grade 4 and can be taken as a stand-alone class or with the KAUST Children’s Center after-school program.
The program has two options. The first option is dedicated to non-native Arabic speakers and aims to introduce kids in the community to the Arabic language and focuses on day-to-day conversations. The second option is for kids of native Arabic speakers and focuses on Arabic reading and writing skills.
How do registrations and classes work?
- The classes will run from January 15 to March 8
- Classes for non-native speakers are conducted twice a week for 30 minutes each. (Monday and Wednesday)
- Classes for native Arabic speakers are conducted twice a week for 45 minutes each. (Sunday and Tuesday)
- Spaces are limited. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Program fees:
Classes for non-native speakers – 644 SAR for seven weeks (14 classes)
Classes for Arabic native speakers – 805 SAR for seven weeks (14 classes) - Payment is required before attending the classes. Payments are accepted at the Harbor Sports Club Reception.

Register for kids’ classes
For registrations, please fill out this registration form. Upon receiving enrollment confirmation, please complete the payment at the Harbor Sports Club (HSC) Reception on or before the first day of the class.
Arabic Classes for Adults
Registration is now open for the Community Arabic Program, a five-week course that teaches participants day-to-day conversational Arabic. It also introduces expat community members to the rich language and culture of Saudi Arabia.
By the end of the program, students will be able to participate in simple conversations in Arabic and build relationships with Arabic speakers around them.
How do registrations and classes work?
- 90-minutes classes are conducted twice a week from January 29 to March 8
- Available sessions and timings are in the registration form.
- All classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The program fee is 575 SAR for 5 weeks (10 classes).
- Payment is required before January 26 prior to attending the classes. Payments are accepted at the Harbor Sports Club Reception.

To register, please fill out the registration form by January 26. The exact program timings are reflected in the registration form.
Conversational Arabic Café
The Arabic Café is a weekly gathering to practice Arabic and discuss different topics of interest. It is designed for people at intermediate or advanced level of Arabic learning, especially for those who have previously taken at least three Community Arabic Programs.
How do registrations and classes work?
- Classes meet once a week for 90 minutes from January 30 to March 6
- The intermediate level meets at the Harbor library every Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. andthe advance level meets from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
- Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis
- The cost for the program is 403 SAR for five weeks
- Payment is due by March 5 and is accepted at the Harbor Sports Club (HSC) Reception.
