Dear KAUST community members,
We will mark the 33rd Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Traffic Week which will be held under the theme “Your life is a Trust”. This event is being celebrated simultaneously across the GCC region since its inception in 1984 and it is aimed at spreading traffic awareness and safe driving practices among road users.
Please join us from March 13 to 16, for GCC Traffic Week. Enjoy your dinner at Discovery Square while your child practices their driving skills in an electric mini car, specifically designed for youngsters. Children will learn about seatbelt safety and how to drive responsibly on a miniature road layout, complete with junctions and signage. Community Members will also have the opportunity to use a driving simulator, provided by Saudi Aramco. Driving School will take place from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Discovery Square Multipurpose Room.
Little ones can also enjoy face painting and a treat from the ice cream van.
