‘Get Active’ at KAUST with TouchTennis

The next Roger Federer or Raphael Nadal may just be here at KAUST!

Friday, June 13, saw the latest Get Active TouchTennis tournament. More than 20 players (both young of age and young of heart) battled on the indoor badminton courts for some thrilling games of TouchTennis.

After some very competitive matches, the winners were Daniel Whitehair and Duha Hussain.  The runners-up were Jake Kinsella and Alejandro Whitehair.  Congratulations!

An alternative to traditional tennis, TouchTennis uses small racquets and sponge balls, and is a fast and furious game from the outset.

The next TouchTennis tournament is scheduled for Friday, July 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Harbor Sports Club. If you would like to be involved, please visit and register at either the Harbor Sports or the Island Recreation Clubs’ reception.

If you would like to know more about TouchTennis – or any of the other exciting activities available at KAUST – log on to Get Active for more information.
