Flu update from the KAUST Medical Clinic

Dear KAUST community members,

As winter break approaches and many of you may be travelling, we wanted to remind you that you may get a flu shot from the KAUST Medical Clinic. This shot provides protection from the seasonal flu virus. It offers protection against H1N1 influenza and two other strains for this season.

We encourage community members of all ages to get a flu shot if you have not already been vaccinated during the last 12 months.

Flu shots are available by booking an appointment at KMC, or you may walk in and the KMC staff will try their best to get you an appointment with as little waiting time as possible.

For the remainder of this month, the 25 SAR visit fee will be waived for any appointment that is made for the purpose of receiving the flu vaccine.

Further information about flu vaccination and frequently asked questions can be found at the following links:

Dr. Enass Arahman
Acting Director of KMC
