Parenting skills are key to raising happy and healthy children. As parents, we often rely on the tools our parents used to raise us, when we were younger. However, childrearing practices have changed significantly in the last few decades, as research tells us more about how best to raise happy and responsible children.
The Everyday Parenting Course delivered by the FCSC team is based on the research of Alan Kazdin in the Yale Parenting Center. Over four sessions you will learn practical behavior-based tools that you can implement immediately at home. These strategies will help improve sibling and parent interactions and minimize conflict at home.
If you would like to add to your parenting toolkit; you are warmly invited to attend the Everyday Parenting Course every Tuesday in February from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
