Falling Walls Prize List 2017

KAUST is once again honored to be one of the world’s select universities to participate in the annual Falling Walls competition. Falling Walls Lab 2017 is looking for innovators to present their research, business, entrepreneurial or social initiatives. Presentations will be made before a panel of world-renowned judges and must be completed in three minutes.

At KAUST, we will hold our campus competition on September 19 and award prizes to five finalists, with up to three winners receiving an invitation for an all-expense paid trip to Berlin for the international competition on November 8 and 9. The contest is open to all KAUST community members, so if you are a student, postdoctoral fellow, professional, scientist, entrepreneur or anyone else who has a vision of how to change the world, this is your chance!

1st prize winner:	MacBook Pro 15″ (512 GB) & Trip to Berlin
2nd prize/runner-up can include:	MacBook Air 13″ (256 GB) & considered for a  trip to Berlin
3rd prize can include:	iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular (128 GB) & considered for a trip to Berlin
4th prize:	iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular (64 GB)
5th prize:	iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular (64 GB)

 

Applications are now being accepted. Applicants must be 18 years old or older. The deadline for applications is July 1, 2017.
