Enrichment in the Fall Events Today

Today we have a great documentary screening for you to enjoy:

Science to Watch: Sharkwater
5:30 -7:45 p.m, Visualization Core Lab

For filmmaker Rob Stewart, exploring sharks began as an underwater adventure. This led to a beautiful and dangerous life journey into the balance of life on earth.

Driven by passion fed from a lifelong fascination with sharks, Stewart debunks historical stereotypes and media depictions of sharks as bloodthirsty, man-eating monsters and reveals the reality of sharks as pillars in the evolution of the seas.

This screening will be accompanied by a discussion with KAUST student Jesse Cochran.

And as the weekend is almost upon us, be sure to take advantage of the produce sale:

Fall Organic Produce Sale in association with Abazeer and Honey House
11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m, Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25,
Multipurpose Room, Discovery Square

This is a great opportunity to buy fresh, organic produce directly from local Saudi farmers for your dinner table. There will also be an opportunity to test a fabulous array of local honeys, including Suder, Samar, Qard, Majari, Summer and Dorim honey.

With a large array of delicious fresh fruit, vegetables and honeys on offer, you’ll be sure to find something delicious to enjoy. Be sure to bring small change and a big bag!
