Community Open Day and Artisan Fair!

Join us for an incredible evening on October 4 for the occasion of the Community Open Day and Artisan Fair at the Island Recreation Center!

• Have fun with the Fire Service and check out the Security Mustang vehicles
• Browse the stalls and buy from our talented community artisans
• Take the children to the Kids Zone for a host of kid-friendly activities
• Visit the Fairground area for entertaining fair games and the bouncy castle
• Try to “Beat the Instructor” at the Recreation Zone
• Watch fitness and water demonstrations, listen to live music and try golf activities
• Head to the Food Zone for Food Trucks, ice-cream and the crepe station
• Ask Community Life staff how you can get engaged as a volunteer, start a community club, pet registration and more
• Meet representatives from various KAUST departments and learn about their services
• Stop by a community club table or studio to learn more and sign up
• Give-aways and a grand prize raffle of six pairs of business airline tickets to Europe!

Onsite parking will be extremely limited due to outdoor activities taking place in the IRC parking lot. We encourage community members to park near the Tamimi supermarket and hop on the event shuttle that will run every 15 minutes from the Tamimi main bus stop to the IRC.
