The Security department would like to remind the KAUST community that the Security office must be informed in the event of selling or giving away any small motor vehicle (buggy, scooter, motorbike, etc.) that has a KAUST registration plate.
The process requires new owners to have the vehicle inspected and obtain the resulting road-worthy certificate at Banaweer Trading, (located at the back of the gas station). The certificate must be processed at the ID Sticker office located at the main security building.
The seller is required to notify the Security office via email, idsticker@kaust.edu.sa confirming the transfer of ownership.
For small vehicles with KAUST registration plates that will be permanently removed from campus, the KAUST registration plate must be returned to the ID Sticker office to ensure all exit requirements are completed.
