Eighteen young innovators will present their research projects, business plans, entrepreneurial and social initiatives before a panel of judges with the hopes of winning a place at the 2015 International Falling Walls Competition in Berlin. Falling Walls is a global conference on future breakthroughs in science and technology.
Graduate Affairs will host the on-campus competition on Tuesday, September 15. The event is open to the whole community, and will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Conference Center (building 19), with a reception to follow.
Five finalists will win awards, and the competition winner will represent KAUST in Berlin on November 8 and 9.
